Facilities Management

  • Hospitals - Keeping troops healthy is always important, and with flu season approaching, the long-lasting protection that BIOPROTECT 500 provides for both solid and porous surfaces as well as fabrics can be critical to force protection.  Independent studies show that this revolutionary new product continuously inhibits microbes, mold, fungi, and even the most resistant strains of viruses.  BIOPROTECT 500 has also been demonstrated to be effective against multiple resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and streptococcus (Strep).

    • Highly effective and non-selective in its control of bacteria

    • Leaves no residue that requires clean-up

    • Fast and easy to use

    • Long lasting

    • Cost effective

    • Safe for the user and the environment

    • Able to protect both porous and non-porous surfaces

  • Schools - Primarily the goal of BioProtect 500 is to reduce the spread of germs, which ultimately are the root cause of infections. It is important to note, through the use of this product we cannot make a direct health claim. However, by helping to control the environment, we greatly reduce the spread of germs, which have a direct impact on infection rates. Imagine how children spread the flu bacteria or even norovirus. Our products will help prevent the transmission and improve on absenteeism.

  • Corporations - by reduction of bacteria in the air, our products will help to improve your employee absentee rates. With a laser detector looking for bacteria in the air, any increases can send a signal to your HVAC system. We place a box filter in front and behind the Hippa filter. Our filters will kill the bacteria, not just collect them. When the detectors see's bacteria, it will increase the amount of circulation until no more bacteria ids detected.

  • Fast Food Companies - BioProtect 500 is a microbiostatic surface protectant. This unique product is EPA Registered and USDA accepted for food contact surfaces.

  • Cruise Liners - Treat cruise liners interiors by fogging every ninety days. This will ensure that every surface, whether visible or invisible is treated.

(From the CDC web site) Cruise ships participating in the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) are required to report the total number of gastrointestinal (GI) illness cases–including zero–evaluated by the medical staff at least 24 hours before the ship arrives at a U.S. port, when sailing from a foreign port.

A separate notification is required when the GI illness count exceeds 2% of the total number of passengers or crew onboard.

Data on this page were obtained from these surveillance reports and from CDC-led investigations. The GI illness cases reported are totals for the entire voyage and do not represent the number of active (symptomatic) GI cases at any given port of call or at disembarkation.

Cruise ship outbreak updates are posted when they meet the following criteria:

    •    Fall within the purview of VSP (see about VSP),

    •    Are sailing on voyages from 3-21 days,

    •    Are carrying 100 or more passengers,

    •    Are cruise ships in which 3% or more of passengers or crew reported symptoms of diarrheal disease to the ships medical staff during the voyage, and

    •    Are gastrointestinal illness outbreaks of public health significance.

  • Hotels -Help protect your customers while they stay with you. Our sheets and pillow cases will help to keep them safe. Another benefit is "odor control".
